LOS ANGELES, CA (March 2017) – Guarachi Wine Partners is pleased to announce the launch of tenshen rosé. This new varietal is a line extension of the highly successful tenshen red and white wines.
Crafted by winemakers Joey Tensley and Alex Guarachi, tenshen rosé is poised to follow suit, with a masterful expression of Rhône varietals from Santa Barbara County. The 2016 vintage blends Syrah, Mourvédre, and Viognier, creating a brilliant pink color, phenomenal structure and texture with a clean, fruity finish. SRP $19.99.
Tensley has built a reputation for his aptitude with California Rhônes under his other renowned label, Tensley Wines. The tensh?n brand was created in partnership with vintner and veteran importer, Alex Guarachi, who is President and CEO of Guarachi Wine Partners.
“The tenshen brand has rocketed to instant success since we first introduced the brand in late 2014,” said Guarachi. “The reception of the Rhône-style red and white blends has been phenomenal. Both have been highly praised by critics and consumers, so it seemed like a natural progression to make a bit of rosé from the high quality Syrah, Mourvédre and Viognier we were already working with.”
